General Qualifications

  • Implementation expertise in one or both of Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics using a Tag Management tool
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and time management skills
  • Confident level understanding of attribution and marketing channels
  • Clear understanding of tracking variables, scope, properties and functionality
  • High energy, high integrity individual who can simultaneously drive change while fostering a team culture
  • Mindful listener with superior analytical abilities
  • Enjoys collaborating with other team members and clients
  • Strong business acumen
  • Sense of humor

Desirable Qualifications

  • Understanding of lead generation and conversion processes
  • Understanding of data importing / exporting
  • Experience with analytics tag QA/monitoring tools such as ObservePoint, Hub-scan, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant work experience in technical program/project management in digital analytics and marketing
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (e.g. pivot tables, creating formulas)
  • Proficiency in problem-solving with large datasets

What you will do

  • Advise, educate, and build awareness of best practices in relation to client’s specific industry and key business requirements
  • Interact frequently with clients via phone, email, and/or in-person—including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, and C-level executives
  • Support client’s developers and third parties throughout the implementation process
  • Gather, document and help form/guide client business requirements, dashboards, key performance indicators and other functional and/or technical requirements
  • Design customized solutions and technical tag implementation strategies
  • Generate customized web analytics collection code (javascript, TMS setup, HTML markup, etc.) and assist with its implementation and deployment
  • Produce documentation for tracking code implementation
  • Validate and debug implementation and follow through on issues until resolved

Flex your skills using these tools

  • Digital Analytics platforms: Google Analytics (360), Adobe Analytics , Mixpanel (be an implementation expert in at least one of these)
  • Tag managers: Adobe Dynamic Tag Management, Google Tag Manager, Tealium
  • Code: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.js, Node.js
  • Proficient knowledge of web design structure, frameworks, DOM manipulation, stylesheets, etc
  • CRO and A/B testing tools: Adobe Target, Optimizely
  • Google Sheets, Excel, with extensive function and plugin usage
