Position Summary: We are actively seeking an Marketing Strategist who can review client websites, sign up for email blasts, analyze off-site efforts with an understanding of our clients’ businesses, industries, and environments. Specifically, the Marketing Strategist will be responsible for monthly performance reports outlining wins and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats, and send wins to clients.

Functioning as a key member of our Marketing consulting team, the Marketing Strategist is confident navigating in digital analytics and reporting tools (such as Google Analytics, Adobe SiteCatalyst, Google Adwords Reporting, and AWR) to analyze insights and recommend actions. Performs auditing, documentation and help companies explore their data. This client-facing role will help organizations capture data and turn insights into actionable recommendations to achieve their analytics goals. This is a full-time opportunity that can work from our Rocklin location.

To be Successful

  • Must know the fundamentals of traditional marketing
  • Need strong understanding of all major facets of online marketing and actively stay current in your knowledge
  • You'll need to have strong interpersonal agility, ability to build, execute, and present on content strategy for clients
  • Must be experienced in time management, creating segments and setting up goals in Google Analytics to analyze user behavior, or must possess interest in learning to do so
  • You will show us your knowledge and experience with creating content for blogs, web pages and PPC landing pages using keyword research, marketing savvy and SEO best practices
  • Experience with account management, must be comfortable in a client-facing role. Ability to manage meetings and keep conversation on point
  • Ability to identify industry trends and envision how clients can benefit from them
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective marketing strategies and perform tactical implementation
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering client presentations and other deliverables. These include detailed, goal-based marketing plans, analytics-based reports, site audits, competitor analysis, and more
  • Possess the ability to identify technical, authority, content, velocity, and social issues that could lead to poor search engine optimization
  • Possess the ability to identify usability and user experience issues with websites, mobile apps and other social media

Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to act with clients and be attentive and responsive to internal and external customer concerns
  • High energy, high integrity individual who can simultaneously drive change while fostering a team culture
  • Confident using online analytical and reporting tools (such as Google Analytics, Adobe SiteCatalyst, Google Adwords Reporting, and AWR) to analyze, interpret, draw conclusions and summarize information, and present these conclusions in a clear way
  • Experience with creating content for blogs, web pages and PPC landing pages using keyword research, marketing savvy and SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of how to identify issues that could lead to poor conversion and determine action steps to resolve those issues
